LEGENDARY POP STAR FRANKIE VALLI TO
PERFORM AT MC NEICE AUDITORIUM ON FEBRUARY 12 FOR WHITEWELD
FOUNDATION BENEFIT
SPARTA,
NJ, January 15, 2005—One of the greatest
musical giants of the last forty years will perform live in a
benefit concert for The Whiteweld Foundation, with proceeds
earmarked for the children of the southern Asia tsunami disaster.
This very special evening with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
will take place on the Saturday before Valentine's Day, February 12,
2005, in Sparta, New Jersey, at the McNeice Auditorium. Oldies 1360,
WNNJ-AM, is co-sponsoring the Concert along with Citizens Community
Bank of Ridgewood.
Ever since "Sherry" put Frankie Valli and
the Four Seasons on the popular music charts in 1962, Frankie
Valli's voice and career have been an established part of popular
music. In addition to numerous number one hits, Frankie Valli has
made the charts more than 50 times, imbedding his timeless style and
sensibility on such hits as "Walk Like A Man." "Rag Doll," "Let's
Hang On," "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You," December 1963 (Oh What A
Night), and "Grease."
This evening promises to be rich in
musical history, infused with the excitement of live music, and
graced by an indelible performer, Frankie Valli.
The
Whiteweld Foundation Concert Series raises funds expressly for the
benefit of a variety of children's charities, focusing on health and
educational initiatives. In light of the recent tragedy in southern
Asia, funds will be specifically distributed to help the children in
that devastated region.
